Sustained racial equity work comes with predictable resistance. To reach critical mass for positive change, watch out for these 5 anti-patterns of resistance, try these antidotes to help mitigate them, and garner protective cover from leadership. When we spot these anti-patterns, we can break away from entertaining them and move through our discomfort instead.

Conversation & Listening Session Guide

Repair Protocol

During interracial coalition building, we’re often so worried about making mistakes that we might feel too paralyzed to act. Part of the journey is anticipating that we’ll cause harm and that we have options to work on repairing trust. Practicing a repair protocol can help us navigate anxiety and help us move forward.
